International Day is January 31st
International Day is that special day of the year where we celebrate our cultural diversity! Students, staff and parents can wear traditional clothing of their country, and share their culture, music, dance and food.
International Day is a day to appreciate every nationality at NHE! Please join us as we celebrate our diversity on January 31, 2025.
In the classroom, students create an international craft, participate in “taste-fest”, and share traditional music/dance with their friends!
Each grade level has their very own taste fest. It includes international foods donated and served by classroom family volunteers. Please see below for a sign up on the volunteer page to donate a traditional food for your class. We will need only two volunteers per classroom.
The International Parade is a fun way for the students to express their international roots! Students dressed in traditional clothing reflective of their country parade for all to see! Each student has a decorated sign with the country they represent.
The parade will take place at 1:30 pm and festivities start at 1:00. You won’t want to miss out!
