Think you don’t have time for the PTA? That's ok! Just signing up to be on our email list goes a long way—attending a meeting, helping at one event, or simply showing support makes a difference. We would love to have you join – even if you cannot attend meetings, volunteer or donate financially – your membership strengthens our community! Little actions...big results!

PTA FAQs

Do I have to join the PTA?

Joining the PTA is entirely optional. But when you do join as a basic member, you essentially opt in to receiving information and communication from the Parent Volunteers. Many of the events at NHE are actually hosted by the PTA, not the school staff. If you're not a PTA member, you might miss out on important communications.

Do I have to attend meetings? 

No. Meeting attendance is not required. All members are welcome to attend our general meetings though.

Do I have to volunteer or spend a lot of time at school?

Nope! Joining the PTA is not the same as volunteering. If you choose to volunteer we would LOVE the help—but volunteering is not required.
