What is the Sister School program?

This impactful initiative is designed to foster meaningful partnerships between schools across the Spring Branch Independent School District. Nottingham Elementary has proudly partnered with Ridgecrest Elementary since 2018. Each school year, we strive to meet the needs of students, support teachers, and give back to our shared community.

We collaborate directly with Michelle Garcia, Ridgecrest’s Principal, to identify programs and opportunities where Nottingham can provide support.

How Can YOU Help? 

Fall Lost and Found/Shoe Donations

Do you have gently used shoes your kiddos have outgrown? Ridgecrest would love gently used athletic cleats, ballet/tap, and everyday shoes. Please drop off donations to Christa Caraway (810 Soboda Ct) by 11/6. Also, please remember to look through NHE's Lost and Found (or ask your student to look). Thank you Knights! 

Cake Donation for Fall Festival

In October, Nottingham Families provide cake donations to the Ridgecrest Fall Festival which is an annual community event.

Teacher Appreciation Events

The Nottingham PTA provides several staff meals throughout the school year including Thanksgiving Pies, December holiday meal, as well as Teacher Appreciation meals in May.

Kindergarten Egg Hunt

Nottingham Families provide an egg hunt in the spring for the Ridgecrest kindergarteners during the school day.
