We cannot do this work alone! SBISD’s 11,000+ volunteers each school year provide over 200,000 total hours of on-campus volunteer services - an in-kind value of nearly $5 million. Thank you!

An SBISD volunteer is a person providing services for or on behalf of the school district, on the premises of the district, or at a school-sponsored or school-related activity on or off of school property. Any member of the SBISD community can apply to volunteer in our schools – parents, grandparents, guardians, community members, community partners, etc. We are now accepting volunteer applications for the 2022-2023 school year! Reminder, if you've been approved in the past, you must apply and be approved every year before volunteering.

DON'T FORGET YOUR I.D.

Once approved, all volunteers must bring a valid, government issued ID each time they check-in on campus so front desk staff can issue you a name badge. Thank you for recognizing that the safety of our schools, our students and our volunteers is of the utmost importance!

VOLUNTEER WITH NHE

NHE needs you! Please sign up to help the NHE teachers/staff with various functions around the school.  This is a great opportunity to get involved while helping the school at the same time! Various responsibilities include helping with Hagan's 100s Club, copying, laminating, labeling, cutting, scanning in books, distributing mail, library help, etc.
